I
went trick-or-treating with my best friends _______, _______, and _______.
Our pillowcases were full of candy, and it was getting late, so my friends
wanted to go home.

I
wanted a few more chocolate bars so I turned to my
friends and said,
“Let’s knock on a few more doors and then head for home.”
They were worried because they thought it was
already too late.
“Let’s go home now,” they said to me. I told them not to
worry
because we could take a shortcut through the old forest.
So after a few more houses, I took my friends to
the path that
went through the forest. We walked about 20 minutes, and then,
suddenly, I felt very strange. I couldn’t remember the way!
It was dark and
foggy. We were lost. And to make matters worse,
it started to rain. And then,
it started to pour. Lightning lit up
the sky and thunder rang in our ears. We
wandered around in
the rain for over two hours. We were very wet and very
cold.
And then, at about midnight, I saw an old abandoned house on
a hill.
“I think we’ll have to spend the night in that
old house and wait
till morning,” I said.
but they were cold and wet, so they agreed. We walked up the
old wooden steps to the front door. The door creaked open and
we went inside, sat down, and started to eat a chocolate bar, when . . .

When we heard a strange noise coming
from the basement, we froze.
Theodora asked me “What was that?” We decided to
go downstairs.
We opened the door and we looked inside the room. It was really
dark,
we couldn’t see anything. Suddenly we heard somebody screaming.
After
that i don’t really remember what happened, I started running and
I never stopped
until I reached my house. The next day I talked to my
three
friends and they told me that the noise that we heard last night was
from an
old toy.

The door creaked open and we started to
eat a chocolate bar, when we
heard a very
strange sound. “Go away!” somebody said.
I felt very scared my
friends screamed.
The door closed. It was awful. Suddenly
we heard footsteps. “Aaaaa
we are going
to die!!!” Elena said. “Don’t worry,
we must jump out of the
window”
Aphrodite said. It was too late.
A ghost appeared. We jumped out of the
window and
we started to run. “Please,
don’t be scared, I want a friend!! Twenty
years, I’ve lived in this old house. I’m
very lonely!” We went back to the old
house.
We stayed there all night and
we had fun. The ghost was funny.
At ten o’clock we left. It was
a
very nice experience! I’ll never forget it!

It was a creepy house. There were cobwebs on the lamps, and
the floor and the furniture were covered with a thick layer of dust. Fotini
said “I don't like this house, it's awful”. We were sitting on a big,
old sofa, when we heard a strange and creepy noise, like an old door
opening. Despina said “We are alone, right?” and Christina responded
“I don't think so...”. I was about to answer her that it was just an
old house, she had nothing to fear and the door must have open with
the wind but then we heard footsteps. Christina ran quickly and hid
under the dining room table. We did the same thing and we
were expecting to see someone or something, but we didn't
see anything. We were waiting at least five minutes, when I suggested
we go upstairs to see if there was someone there. Fotini refused and said "no
Dimitra, whenever we followed your advice it was wrong". And we
didn't go, but after two minutes we saw a shadow walking down the
stairs.
He was a man, a man was living
there... but why?Why was he living in that old house? Why was his house so filthy? We didn't know...and we will
never know, because we left before he saw us,or did he see us? We'll never
find out ...

...we heard a noise. Suddenly we saw a light. We ran down
to the bedroom and hid under the bed. We didn’t scream. “I don’t know how we
did that!” Footsteps were heard. We were very scared. The people who scared us
were our parents! We didn’t understand how they found us. They always have
their ways! However, we returned to our homes and our adventure ended.
